Five important distinguishing characteristics which mark a disciple

The Marks of a disciple, #1: The Message is "Christ Resurrected"

"With great power the .apostle gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all." -Acts 4:33 (NRSV)

'3 I passed on to you hat was most important and had also been passed on to me- that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 4 He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, as the Scriptures said.' 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NLT)

The Marks of a disciple, #2: The Might comes from the Holy Spirit.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses." Acts 1:8

The Mark off a disciple, #3: The Mission is Never Ending both Locally & Globally

"On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. "

The Marks of. disciple, #4: The "Ministered-to's" Include All People

-There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" -Galatians 3 28 (NIV)

"You yourselves know that it is unlawful for a Jew to associate with or to visit a Gentile; but God has shown me that I should not call anyone profane or unclean" Acts 10:28 (NRSV)
